As Labor Day passes on the calendar, Matt Dolan’s campaign for the Ohio State Senate is building momentum.
Having spent their summer months evaluating who should be the next state senator representing Ohio State Senate District 24, organizations representing a broad spectrum of constituents have decided to endorse Matt Dolan.
“I am honored to be receiving so much support,” Dolan said. “It is clear that my vision, message, and the direction in which I want to take Ohio is resonating.”
Some of the organizations endorsing Dolan include: The National Federal of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the Ohio State Medical Association, the Ohio State Chamber, the Ohio Restaurant Association, the Ohio Manufacturing Association, ACT Ohio and the Cleveland Building & Construction Trade Council – which represents skilled labor –, and the Ohio Society of CPAs. The Ohio Farm Bureau has designated Dolan a “Friend of Agriculture”.
Matt has “demonstrated a true understanding of what is important to Ohio’s small business community, “said Roger R. Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “Dolan will be an excellent addition to the Ohio Senate.”
“The focus of my campaign is on economic growth, an education system that meets the needs of today’s economy, and the protection and promotion of our greatest natural asset, Lake Erie,” Dolan said. “Regardless of your business, trade, occupation or political party, I believe everyone stands to benefit.”
Senate District 24 covers the western, eastern and southern portions of Cuyahoga County, and includes the cities of Solon, Westlake, Strongsville, Brecksville, North Royalton and Lyndhurst, among others.
